Ceremony in honor of the four researchers from the University of Sétif 1 who won prizes at the National Exhibition of Research, Development and Innovation Products
On 13 June 2024, the University of Sétif 1 honored four of its researchers who had won prestigious prizes at the National Exhibition of Research, Development and Innovation Products in Algiers.
In his speech, the Rector expressed his gratitude to the researchers and the entire university community for their efforts in promoting scientific research, aiming for excellence at national and international levels.
The winners are:
- Prof. Mariem Abdoun: Best university hospital researcher, specializing in epidemiology.
- Prof. Yacine Benguerba: Best professor-researcher, expert in chemical engineering.
- Ms Abir Boublia: Best doctoral student, specializing in energy and environmental safety.
- Ms Samiha Djamaï: Distinguished doctoral student, specializing in mathematics applied to medicine.
The ceremony ended with a symbolic group photo of the researchers, celebrating this proud moment for the university.
This event underlines the commitment of the University of Sétif 1 to promoting excellence in research and innovation.
